This week E3 was held in Los Angeles and some new artwork of the improved Catacombs character models are circulating. You can find the screenshots here. If you didn't know yet, Catacombs will be the next payed expansion to Dark Age of Camelot, and won't be out for a while yet, since Mythic is (also) still working on the free expansion New Frontiers, which is to be released in the United States in June.

You might have missed it, but the Tiwaz's Emissaries team ended second in the Midgard pig hurling tournament held last Thursday..
Okay, so there were only four teams, but we had a lot of fun. It's harder and more competative than it might look, check out the article under the link ;)

At last! GOA will be organising a Midgard Hurling competition on Thursday, the 13th of May. Teams will be required to register in advance and have to consist of 8 people. If there is enough interest, it would be nice if we could make a team and participate :)

Next week the E³ Exposition will be held in Los Angeles, and of course Mythic Entertainment will be there, both with a preview of Imperator (Mythic's next MMORPG set in an alternate future) and a demonstration of New Frontiers. The New Frontiers E3 Trailer (16 MB) is already available for download. The quality isn't great but it shows some good looking new game elements :)
