The relic raid that was organised yesterday by Midgard on Dun Dagda triggered a (temporary) zonecrash and possibly also the authentication server crash that is currently plaguing Excalibur. People won't be able to log in until the problem is fixed, unfortunately, so if you're getting denial symptoms you'll have to log onto Prydwen or some other server ;) If you're getting an account already logged in message, you won't be able to play at all until Excalibur is fixed I'm afraid. It's a phenomenon called a 'ghosted' account, and yes, it's annoying :( Needless to say, GOA is aware of the situation and working on the problem. A hardware upgrade to Excalibur was promised some time ago, and according to GOA it is to occur within the next week and half or so, so hopefully that will put an end to interrupted primetime raids on Dun Dagda. Either way, I'd like to thank everyone that participated on the raid. Things were looking pretty good until the server gave up on us. I hope to see you all there next time.. |

Congratulations to Artof for reaching level 50 :) On other news, the Foundations expansion has gone live in the US, so prices are known now. The highest level houses are quite pricy, so if you want your own home or want to contribute to our planned guild house it wouldn't hurt to build up some reserves to prevent day and night farming in a few months :) |

There's a new officer in town, and his name is... Agreiloth! Due to several Jarls leaving over the past couple of months (and Tarrasque and Jerelyn being in the middle of the process of moving) we were at times running short on officers to help our members when needed. For the period of roughly two weeks he will be on a trial period for officer rank, before being promoted to Jarl. During this period he will function exactly like any other officer, if you have any feedback on him being appointed during this time, we'd like to hear. Of course, if you have concerns about anything (or anyone) else in the guild, don't hesitate to contact an officer in private and we'll try to help the best we can. |

Tiwaz made it to the Excalibur news today on the European Dark Age of Camelot site, as the first people to complete the GOA made Fylgja quest. The first screenshot there is actually made by Zargar is super stealth mode, so that's we aren't looking at the camera properly :) |

On an administrave note: I've done a fairly big cleanup of the memberlist today. The guild XML information is still down, so I can't really check if the people in question actually went inactive or left, but I've only removed people that I haven't seen for quite some time... If you have been erroneously placed inactive, drop me a line at thorarin@tiwaz.org with an explanation and I'll reinstate your old rank. I'd like to thank the people that helped claiming Nottmoor this (or technically last) morning. It may not be as glorious as a guild keepraid, but claiming keeps is part of keeping our frontier safe and all the other alliance guilds were either out of realmpoints or they already had a keep claimed.. If you see messages about guards being killed, be sure to notify people on Alliance Chat that Nottmoor is under attack and by how many people. If you don't have access to Alliance Chat and nobody with appropriate access is online, you can use the /gc who alliance command to locate a high-level / well-known player in the alliance and report to him/her. Chances are (s)he will be able to relay the message. Thanks :) |

Today a Tuscaren Glacier hunt was organised and led by Archeon. Some congratulations are in order, as this is the second time in the history of Excalibur that the King and Queen were defeated (the first time was on a raid by Kallio, one of our other members, by the way :>) Drops will be posted on BarrysWorld and the FoM forums, where participants will be required to place their dibs on the item of their choice to participate in the lottery. |
