We finally bought our guild house today! (or technically yesterday as it's more like early morning at the time of writing)

We've ended up in Uldale, Erikstaad. It's not really the prettiest town around, but it's close to the market and and the Erikstaad zone entrance, making it a prime location. Also we managed to get 3 lots next to eachother (at a price :>) for some extra convenience (the guild house is on lot 1688).

I've whipped up a little explanatory text about our guild house, make sure you read it so you're aware of the house rules and stuff.

After over 24 hours of downtime, Excalibur is back up, with 1.63 and Foundations (patch notes here) !

Before you ask, we'll be waiting a little bit for prices to come down before we'll be buying a guild house, especially since GOA have decided to increase the starting price compared to the US prices (higher server population and more cash per character on our servers).

The character database was also rolled back to the state of early morning on Sunday due to several zonecrashes that day, leaving possible duped or disappeared items.

Lastly, some guild business. Two new members today: Aparax (level 50 Shadowblade) and Zavix (level 45 Runemaster), welcome both :)

As mentioned in the latest Friday News version 1.63 and the free Foundations expansion will be going live next Monday.

The servers will probably be down for most of the day. When they're back, the housing zones will be available.
We won't be buying a guild house right away, as lot prices will start very high, but I'll try to monitor the lot sales and get us a decent spot for a decent price :)

In the meantime, I suggest you download the Foundations expansion, it's about 55 MB and there are 2 different versions depending on which client you use (Classic / Shrouded Isles)

Donations for the Guild House Fund are still welcome as always. I'll have to chip in for a big part of the sum needed, but the more money we have, the better a spot we'll be able to afford.

First of all, I'd like to welcome Morto into the guild. He's a friend of Raghildur/Elme and currently level 16 Warrior.

A couple of other things worth noting:
Firstly, Kraig was promoted to Emissary last weekend, but it went unnoticed by me until now. Oh well, better late than never: congratulations :)
Last but not least: Ralgedi dinged RR7 tonight. Congratulations, stlong Flammen Herra! :)

You might have noticed a couple of new faces in the guild the last few days.
Molfrid (currently a level 8 Skald), Dagwath (level 9 Spiritmaster) and Kraig (level 17 Healer).

All 3 of them are new to the game, so they might need some help here and there. Welcome all of you :)
