December 9th, 2004 by Thorarin (thorarintiwaz DOT org) - Roll of Honour

GOA have finished updating their Roll of Honour interface (the old Chronicles), where you can view various information about the status of the frontier, guilds and characters.
Completely new and highly anticipated is the Register, a nice Housing Directory where you can quickly see which lots are available in each zone, and of course who owns what lot.. check it out ;)

It has taken him a little while due to limited playtime, but Morto has made it to level 50! Congratulations :)

Shaniah and I have been gone for the weekend, unfortunately I've been so busy trying to fix my internet connection (amongst other things) that I didn't have time to post a head notification of that. Anyways, we're back, so if you need an officer for any reason, you can contact me through the usual means :)

November 27th, 2004 by Thorarin (thorarintiwaz DOT org) - Jerelyn

Sadly our long time Guild Nanny Jerelyn has decided to quit playing Dark Age of Camelot, indefinitely. I'm sure she will be dearly missed :(
In her generosity she's decided to donate her villa (lot 1691) to the guild for our use and safe keeping, should she decide to return one day.

We will hold an informal guild meeting in her house next Monday 19:30 CET, so (hopefully) everybody will have a chance to say goodbye and ramble about the old times :) I hope to see you all there!

November 25th, 2004 by Thorarin (thorarintiwaz DOT org)

Late last night the forces of Albion managed to capture both the Strength relics Midgard owned. Fighting had been going on for a large part of the day and around 2 AM in the morning a large force of around 140 Albs was on the other side of our milegate. We'll get them relics back though 8)

Oh, before I forget... congratulations to Horned for reaching RR4 yesterday! :)

A minor change on the website: for visitors that are not logged in, email addresses are not linked and otherwise obfuscated in an attempt to throw off email harvesters.

A little reminder to top it all off ;) New Frontiers went live last week. That means you have 1 more week to test Realm Abilities and respec in Jordheim for only 10s if you don't like them. See Frumdall Helmer in Jordheim to acquire a Sophist's Realmstone. Frumdall and Haili (where you use the respec stone) are next to eachother in the great hall with the guild registrar and vault keeper.
Please note that these stones will disappear 15 days after release, so don't bother stocking up :)

November 19th, 2004 by Thorarin (thorarintiwaz DOT org) - Website downtime

Due to several problems at my webhosting company, tiwaz.org has been down for some time. I'm currently reuploading all the content. Until that is finished you may see some broken links or pages :(

On other news: congrats to Skeggi for attaining RR6 in his farm session yesterday :)
Also congratulations to Shaniah for dinging level 24 IRL yesterday <grin>

Shaniah, Skeggi and I will be gone for the weekend, try not to miss us too much <cough> and have fun! :)

November 16th, 2004 by Thorarin (thorarintiwaz DOT org) - New Frontiers! (1.70)

Today is patch day: version 1.70 (New Frontiers) will be installed on the live servers, which will take the better part of the day.

Once the servers come back online, you'll have to have the New Frontiers expansion installed in order to participate in RvR. If you haven't already done so, you should download the installer for your version of Dark Age of Camelot:
New Frontiers for ToA client (270 MB)
New Frontiers for SI and "Super Classic" clients (134 MB)

If you don't have the Shrouded Isles expansion, you will have to download the Super Classic client (560 MB) in order to be able to access the frontiers. Once it is installed, you will be able to install the SI version of the New Frontiers expansion.

For more detailed information, see the official news article on the Camelot Europe news site. See you online :)
