A few days ago version 1.75 went live in the US. This version includes RvR missions, tower razing and an interesting new title system as well as the usual changes and fixes. Also included is an optional graphics upgrade for the major towns, some screenshots of which can be found here.

GOA has not yet announced what the next version will be for us European customers, but 1.75 is something to look forward to :)

As I'm typing this the game servers are down for patching to version 1.73 (Catacombs expansion). The game servers should be back up late afternoon. In the meantime you can patch your client to the new version, which will take about 30 MB of downloading (for ToA client).

There has been some confusion about the English release date of the expansion. For some silly reason it's officially it's April 1st, but copies have been shipped several days ago, so it's likely you will be able to get it before that since many companies basically ignore release dates anyway.

You can find the 1.73 patchnotes here. You might also want to read the 1.72 notes as this is a version we skipped but which is of course part of 1.73.

Keep in mind that you can't /level your character if you want to play a new class. Have fun :)

I'm currently making some changes to the website database, which will probably break some things for a little bit.
While this is going on, you won't be able to make adjustments to your account information and creating new accounts will impossible as well. Forum posting and such should continue to work while this is going on.

Hopefully everything will be back to normal soon :)
