The wedding was held right after our first official in-game guild meeting. A lot of people were present during the ceremony, as you can see on the group picture.
Grilf had the honor to perform the ceremony. And a good job he did, despite a minor slip of the tongue. Oh well, let's give the old man a break, shall we? ;)
Tarrasque decided to take Shaniah's last name as a symbol of his commitment to her. Henceforth they are known as Shaniah and Tarrasque Aardappelmes.
Ever noticed that Jordheim is actually floating? Well, it is :) At least that's what this picture made at the West gate will tell you...
Not only that, but it's floating over water too :) Quite powerful magic to keep all those buildings hanging in the air like that, and for no apparent reason. Couldn't they've just built it someplace else?
Of course it's really just a bug.. Just walk out of Jordheim on the west side (Vasudheim) and don't turn around the corner right away after zoning. Instead, walk until you hit the wall, then stand still. You'll fall about 4 feet and you can look under Jordheim. Don't worry, you're not stuck, you can get out easily by walking away from the wall again.
Time for some more various graphics quirks :) Sometimes thing get messed up pretty badly, as you can see here... Unless zebra crossings have been around for longer than we realize :) Thanks Arakiss, for sharing it with us.
What's worse than messed up textures? Well, no textures at all :) On the other hand, if RvR looked like this, it might actually solve the performance problems. Check the l33t graphics on this baby and buy your Geforce today! :)
Shaniah gets her fair share of graphical mess ups as well, as you can see in these two Spindelhalla screenshots for example. For some reason, things were moved and copied around the screen all the time, and things that shouldn't be visible were. Interesting effect, but I'd hate to play like that :)
We all know Sterre can be stubborn at times, but apparently even her inventory portrait can go on a strike..
There have been reports of her using very peculiar combinations of weaponry as well.. She actually manages to shoot arrows like this though, so if it works for her, it's okay I guess...
No, this wasn't technically a graphics bug, but I placed it here anyway :)
While a certain GM (*cough* Kemor *cough*) was fixing a problem with our guild rank permissions,
our emblem got partially overwritten, causing it to change color.
Nunnan here was actually quite happy with his new colors, unfortunately for him it was quickly changed back :)
Not all of you may be familiar with the Scorpion yet, one of the siege engine available in DAoC. A couple of us were present when one of these things was tested at Askheim. Even the elmwood version did 400-700 damage on the wherewolves there, Area Effective, so it seems like a pretty powerful weapon in the right hands :)
This thing only costs 50 gold to make, the improved ones are a lot more expensive of course. Nevertheless it's a very interesting feature. Fund the alliance so we can shoot Alb and Hib butt with it :)

A member of our group managed to drop their venom, needed for their epic many moons ago. They appealed on RightNow, and we were greeted by a GM, as shown in the pic.

Brave, or just plain stupid? Either way, some warriors choose to go on a close encounter with Midgard's pet dragon. Unfortunately, so far they've all ended up exactly the same: roast meat ;)
